Card Crawl Adventure Mod is an open-source variation of the original Card Crawl, a popular indie strategy game for Android and iOS. The game features a number of changes from the original: new tile types, new card art, player abilities, and more.
The objective of Card Crawl Adventure Mod is to get from corner to corner of the dungeon without being eliminated by other player characters or killed by a boss. All tiles on the board must be activated with cards before they can be moved. When a card is played it can replace an adjacent tile if that tile has not been activated yet or it can activate one adjacent tile if there are no other cards in that square.
There are two types of spaces on the board: hallways and rooms which contain either treasure chests or monsters that attack players when activated. Hallways provide passage through which players may move freely while rooms usually have an entrance door on one side and an exit door on another side and are defended by monsters.
